Privacy and Data Statement

At FuzzyCode, we prioritize your privacy and are committed to transparency in how we handle your data. Here’s an overview of our practices:

  1. No Selling of Information
We will never sell your personal information to third parties.

  2. Data We Collect and Why

    • User ID: Your account is associated with a unique user ID for internal purposes only. This ensures that your identity remains protected in public or shared interfaces.
    • Name: Collected for payment and administrative purposes. However, your name is not directly linked to your account in any public interface.
    • Email Address: Used for account login and communication purposes.
    • IP Address: Temporarily collected for debugging and to investigate technical issues.
    • Activity Logs: Certain usage data, such as project history and user interactions, is tracked to improve the platform and assist with debugging.
    • Published Content: When you publish games, apps, titles, descriptions, metadata, or comments/replies, this content becomes visible to others in the FuzzyCode community.
  3. Data Retention

    • FuzzyCode is not publicly launched. Automated retention, expiration, archive-expiry, and deletion controls are being validated in report-only mode for this pre-launch release, so those jobs do not delete production data.
    • Parents and users may still request review, stop-future-use, unpublishing, or verified deletion through the parent contact page. Applicable requests remain available under the current verified process.
    • Final category-specific periods will be published only after the retention matrix and production controls are approved and proven.
  4. Data Security and Usage

    • Your data is securely stored, and we take steps to ensure it is not misused.
    • Debugging and improvement processes may involve linking logs or activity to your user ID, email, or username to resolve issues efficiently.
  5. Consent and Future Updates

    • By using FuzzyCode, you consent to these data practices.
    • As FuzzyCode evolves, we may update this Privacy Statement to reflect changes in our policies. Significant updates will be communicated via the app or email.
  6. Third-Party Services
Payment processing is securely handled by third-party providers, and we do not store your payment information. Sentry is used as an operational service provider for limited error, performance, security, debugging, and support telemetry—not advertising, sale of information, behavioral profiling, or unrelated product use. We do not intentionally attach prompts, generated content, child names, emails, or account identifiers to Sentry events. Its effective account settings and separate retention periods are verified before public launch rather than summarized as one unsupported duration.

  7. Content and Publishing

    • Games become public only after parent approval. You can unpublish or delete an original game at any time. When you cancel, you choose whether approved public games stay up; if no choice is recorded, we take them down.
    • A remix already made by another user is their own creation. Deleting your original does not delete that derivative work.
    • Private, unlisted, and share-link modes help prevent unwanted public exposure and keep unfinished work out of public listings. An unlisted link is not a secret: anyone who receives it can open it, and trusted FuzzyCode operators may access content when needed to operate, secure, or support the service.
